A recent post in FT suggests that EBay is considering spinning off Skype. Ebay still has not been able to figure out how to use Skype technology. That has not stopped Skype from becoming popular, and I bet a lot more people today are using Skype now than at the time of purchase. But looks like after spending $4.1 billion and generating lots of buzz,  EBay has finally figured out that Skype is not worth it!
