On web hosting

My cousin kept asking me last week on how a website works and how he could have a website of his own. I told him that before anything else, he should choose a web host to host his site first. Without a web hosting provider, he can’t have a website up and running online. But choosing the right web host for your website could be a challenge sometimes. The thing that interests him with having his own website was the possibility of earning through it. But money, itself, is an issue since he is still in college and wouldn’t be able to afford any paid hosting. I personally host my website with 1and1 and generally I’ve been happy with them. Ever been in a situation on a Friday night when you decide to check your email after having a few glasses of drinks and end up sending out an email that you shouldn’t have? Well, Google now has a solution. They will make you take a math quiz and only if you answer all the questions correctly the email will go out. Old monk rum

Recently I had a fortune of trying the good old ‘Old Monk XXX’ rum from India again. As soon as I had first sip, all the memories from back when I tried it first came back. Having tried lots of other ‘cool’ beverages from around the world, I though this was not bad at all! In fact according to WineGlobe web site, Old Monk is apparently third most selling rum in the world…. I bet not many people know what. The rum is also available as 12 year aged version, but I haven’t had luck to try that yet. ......continue reading
